Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts will be a state-of-the-art facility with a seating capacity of approximately 3,000.
The venue will be located in downtown Greensboro at the site surrounded by North Elm and East Lindsay Streets and Abe Brenner Place.
Expected to open in Spring 2020, the Tanger Performing Arts Center will provide Greensboro and surrounding areas with the richness and diversity of Broadway performances, symphony, ballet, opera and more.
Designed to enhance Greensboro’s capacity for visual and dramatic art, the Tanger Center is a transformational space.
The Cemala Foundation joined other organizations, corporations and individuals to meet the center’s original $20M fundraising goal in 2013.
